Cooper Davis has been selective with his summer schedule as he returned to competition this past weekend at the Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo.  He is currently 3rd after two rounds; his round one win has qualified him for the event Gold Medal round Wednesday where the winner earns 170 world points and $50,000.  Entering Cheyenne Davis remains sixth in the PBR world standings with 1,895 points.

Jess Lockwood has taken advantage of the break and added points to Touring Pro events like never before. With Touring Pro wins in Deadwood, Bismarck, Binford, Ranchman’s in Calgary, AB and most recently in Jackson Hole, WY Jess has earned 1,095 world standings points. Not to leave out an inspiring 5 for 6 performance at the Calgary Stampede, wining Pool A and narrowly missing out on the event win Lockwood has improved to a mere 146 points behind the number one spot. Jess is currently second in the PBR world standings with 3,470 points.

Derek Kolbaba is currently ranked 8th, worldwide, with 1,702 points.

Up Next for PBR’s Unleash the Beast tour: After Cheyenne the PBR Unleash the Beast will take a short two week break before returning for the Express Ranches Express Classic presented by Osage Casino in Tulsa, OK.  The BOK Center will play host to the elite tour once again Saturday August 10th & Sunday August 11th.  The PBR Touring Pro Division will take center stage for riders that wish to improve their standings position before Tulsa.
