Cooper Tires Take the Money and Ride results

Cooper Davis went 2 for 3 and capped of an end of season four event run where he rode 10 of 13 bulls, and averaged a top 3 finish dating back to Fairfax, VA. For the second consecutive weekend Cooper recorded a 90 point ride in the event championship round, his fifth 90 or better score of the season. Davis finishes the PBR UTB regular season fifth in the PBR world standings with 3,738 points, and qualifies for his fifth consecutive PBR world finals (2015 – 19). Cooper recorded 15 top ten finishes, he rode to nine event round wins, 3 of which were event championship round wins and he had a 50% success rate in his championship round attempts, riding 6 of 12. He will now rest and recuperate for the next two weeks leading up to Vegas.

Jess Lockwood went 2 for 3 and since once wasn’t enough for Jess, he selected the previously unridden bull, Heartbreak Kid (38 – 2) in the event championship round once again and improved his previous career high ride of 93.75 points to 94 points. Lockwood finished third in the event, his 12th top ten finish of the year and earned 285 world points. He finishes the PBR UTB regular season second in the PBR world standings with 6,185 points, and qualifies for his fourth consecutive PBR world finals (2016 – 19). His new career high score was his tenth 90 or better score of the year; the round win was his 13th of the season, four of which were event championship round wins; he has ridden 9 of 12 bulls in the championship round, a series leading 75% success rate; and his riding percentage exclusively on the PBR UTB Tour is 66% (39 of 59 bulls) which leads the series. Jess has indicated that he will compete at the PBR Velocity Tour Finals on Nov. 2nd– 3rd at the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa, his last chance to earn world points before the PBR World Finals.
