Jess Lockwood went 0 for 2 in his two attempts in Last Cowboy Standing, but he did advance to round 2 based on his world ranking.   The weekend was not a loss though as Jess did ride 2 of 2 bulls in the PBR sanctioned WCRA rodeo held over the weekend at Thomas and Mack arena finishing 3rd in the event and earned 40 world standings points.  Heading into the summer break, Jess remains eighth in the world with 1,675 points.

Cooper Davis went 3 for 4 in Last Cowboy Standing and was one successful ride away from possibly winning the event.  Cooper won rounds 1 and 2 and finished 2nd overall earning 285 world points.  Davis also rode 1 of 2 bulls in the PBR sanctioned WCRA rodeo held over the weekend at Thomas and Mack arena finishing 4th in the event and earned 20 world points.  Entering the summer break, Cooper has improved to ninth in the PBR world standings with 1,510 points.

Up Next for PBR’s Premier Series:  the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast breaks for the summer and will return for its 18th stop in the 2018 season August 11 – 12 in Tulsa, OK and the Express Employment Professionals Classic Presented by Osage Casino at the BOK Center.
