Lockwood and Davis weekend results from Tulsa

Tulsa, OK Express Classic & 15 / 15 Bucking Battle review

Kaique Pacheco went 0 for 2 in the Classic event and failed to ride his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle bull Saturday night.  Kaique remains the number one bull rider in the world with 2950 world standings points.

Eduardo Aparecido went 0 for 2 in the Classic event and failed to ride his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle bull Saturday night.  Eduardo remains in eighth place in the world with 1684.99 world standings points.

Cooper Davis went 1 for 3 in the Classic event and made that one ride count for the long round win Sunday afternoon.  The round 2 win was Cooper’s seventh round win of the season.  Cooper earned 115 world standings points for his sixth-place overall finish.  Davis failed to cover his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle attempt.  He remains ninth in the world standings with 1640 points.

Jess Lockwood went 0 for 2 in the Classic event, however he won the 15 / 15 Bucking Battle event Saturday night.  Jess covered previously unridden Canadian Mist (TNT Bucking Bulls / HRC – Hart Cattle) and earned 150 world standings points.  Jess is currently seventh in the world standings with 1912.50 points.

Matt Triplett went 2 for 3 in the Classic event highlighted by a third-place finish in round 2.  He earned 112.5 points for his efforts and is now inside the top 35 in the world standings, currently 34th with 572.50 points.  Matt has qualified for the event championship round in the three Unleash the Beast events he’s competed in to date.

Silvano Alves went 1 for 3 in the Classic event, finished in a tie for 12th and earned 5 world standings points.  Silvano is currently 22nd in the world standings with 778.32 points.

Brennon Eldred went 0 for 2 this weekend and remains 18th in the world standings with 887.50 points.

Up Next for PBR’s Premier Series:  the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast travels to Nashville, TN and the Music City Knockout presented by Cooper Tires for the fourth and final PBR Major of the season.   The two-day bracket-style event will begin on Friday, August 17 at 8:45 pm ET, wrapping up on Saturday, August 18 at 7:45 pm ET.

CBS Sports Network will air Inside the Majors pre-show Friday August 17th at 8:30 pm ET before airing round 1 live at 9:00 pm ET.

CBS Network will air the championship round Sunday August 19th at 1:00 pm ET.
