Cooper Davis went 3 for 4 over the weekend highlighted with the event championship round win, his eighth round win of the season and a second place finish in round 2. His perfect 2 for 2 Saturday evening propelled Cooper to a second place finish overall and earned 445 world points for his efforts. This was Cooper’s second straight top five finish, and eighth of the season. Davis rode his bull Friday night to a fifth place finish in the 15 / 15 Bucking Battle as well. Cooper remains fifth in the PBR world standings with 2,993 points.

Jess Lockwood bounced back from a round one buck off and rode his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle bull for 91.5 points, his eighth 90+ point ride of the season and PBR Record fourth 15 / 15 special round win of the year. Jess then covered both bulls Saturday night to a fifth place in round 2 and second place in the event championship round. He finished third in the event, his eighth top 5 finish of the season. Lockwood earned 420 world points and while he remains in second place in the PBR world standings with 5,500 points, he significantly cut into the world leader’s advantage and with two regular season events left on the schedule before the world championship he trails the top spot by 671 points.
