Testimonials

The X-2 is very convenient for back country type work.  Lots of versatility for a multitude of situations.

The X-2 is great unit once sighted in.  Trigger pull still controls your final target.  Practice is essential.  Once the trigger pull was consistent, I was able to hit the bulls-eye.  Great addition to wildlife work.

The X-2 was easy to use.  Felt great to handle, nice weight.  Took awhile to get accurate with it, but once I did it was a very sure delivery system.

I want one! This changed my mind about getting a cartridge fired rifle for ACO work.  Quiet, accurate, easy to store and will allow capture in urban areas.  A breeze to use and control.  I love the way the X-2 fits in my hand.  Scope is a great feature.  Wonderful!

Blair,
The last few days I have had the first chance to use the new 1.0 cc darts. Darted 140 mares in SD and all I can say is WOW! Great job. Only a single dart didn't fire and that was our fault (too soft a hit). Congratulations on a fine product.

Blair,

Just returned from Assateague Island National Seashore where we treated 21 of the wildest damn horses you ever saw. Our shots were at extreme ranges,in the wind, with no misses, and every dart fired on cue. With the earlier work at Return-to-Freedom, in California, that makes 72 dartings without a single failure just this year. I used my trusty model 193 and Ranger Allison uses her earlier model with the gas valve at the front. Neither of us have missed since 1999.

I send this as part of an annual message that has become tradition. The quality of the 193, and the darts is absolutely overwhelming. One mare took me 7 hours to get that shot and a failed dart would have been catastrophic. Another two mares took us two entire days. Just thought you would want to know how well your amazing products work.

We use the guns with a Bushnell range finder and three 3/8 inch dowels, rubber banded together at the top, to form a shooting tripod (very cheap!) and it is a winning combination.

Jay

I just wanted to say thanks for a great reliable product. I have the 389 and have made just over 30 live shots with it over the past 4 months, and not a single problem. We just recently used it to help catch a bucking stock bull that got loose. We had him down and back home in less than a hour with no damage to the neighbors equipment or ourselves.

Thanks, Jason Smith

I recently purchased a Pneu-Dart gun. Today we had cold, icy situations and I doctored two sick calves with the gun right from my truck. Did not have to get the whole herd to the corral in order to catch the two sick calves. No stress to the cow, calves and me made it so much easier having the Pneu-Dart gun.

Thanks, Ed Paine

My annual praise for outstanding equipment. Just returned from Assateague, and we treated 21 mares in 9 days. These mares are as wily as anything gets, and I had to get over half at ranges of 45-53 yards, in winds. No misses, every dart fired. If there is better equipment anywhere in the world, please advise me, because I won't believe it until I try it.

Pneu-Dart, I thank you for being a leader in the forefront of new technology for making and putting the 1-1/2 cc dart into production. I can confidently shoot further, along with the assurance that the deer I am tranquilizing will stay immobilized due to the extra volume over the 1 cc dart. There is also less impact trauma if I underestimate the yardage. I tranquilize over 200 whitetails a year and have excellent success with your products. With your 1-1/2 cc darts my job just got a little easier. God's Blessings

Just wanted to thank you for many years of providing a quality product. I took your equipment to Mongolia last year and I believe we are the first people to dart, immobilize, and radio-collar an argali sheep.

Just finished another day on Assateaque and decided to send you a short note about your gun and darts. They are GREAT. I have reached the point where I feel the same way about my gun as I do about my computer. They are both capable of more than me!!

We would just like to send you some feedback on the performance of the 2cc darts with the new flight adaptation on the tail. The accuracy, in our opinion, is unsurpassed to give you an edge. With three consecutive darts, over 50m, we get +/- 1 inch grouping. This is using a smooth bore 13 mm barrel. In addition to this, we would like to inform you of the success of the transmitters supplied by yourself. We recently darted 67 nyala with 2 transmitters (2 guns) without loss or damage. Thank you for the excellent product, we look forward to a long partnership with yourself as our supplier.

We just acquired one (1) of your Model No. 167 CO2 Tranquilizing Rifles, through the efforts of the Douglasville Township Chief of Police. It is an excellent projector and I wish to praise you on the fine workmanship.

We have been very satisfied with the performance of the Pneu-Dart to date and plan to enter into an expanded capture program using Pneu-Darts on wild deer this winter. I will forward the results of these experiments to you as they become available.

In May of 1970, we purchased a Model 167 Projector, Series #59 and Case, from you. Since then we have had the occasion to use the gun many times. The performance has been excellent and the Police Dept. is more than satisfied with its effectiveness to control stray dogs.

We have been using the Pneu-Dart successfully to tranquilize Rocky Mountain elk caught in corral traps. To date we have only three captures, but each has been a success with the dart fired from 10-15 feet.

Thank you very much for the sample darts you sent me some time ago. I recently had an opportunity to try them under winter yarding conditions on white tail deer and I feel they are definitely quite superior to previously used immobilizing equipment.
