Pneu-Dart recently unveiled its new packaging for its RDD Slo-Inject remote delivery devices (darts). Large volume RDD Slo-Inject packaging is now being shipped and within the coming months, the company expects to transition its small volume RDDs to the new package design as well.
The new packaging design is easily recognizable by the change in box color from blue to a vibrant green color. Not only is the outward appearance of the RDD Slo-Inject packaging noticeably different, but customers and channel partners will also appreciate enhanced physical characteristics such as:
- Reduced number of box sizes. Current packaging consisted of three (3) box sizes (small, medium and large). A modification of internal clamshells efficiently packages the entire range of RDDs to fit within two box sizes.
- Modified box closure. To eliminate packages from accidentally opening while in transit, the new box design now incorporates an enhanced tab and locking mechanism.
- Integrated hanging tab. At the request of customers, the new package design now sports a peg-hook tab which allows packages to be displayed vertically, as well as horizontally.
Additional changes in the coming months include special packaging for large-volume orders.
