The Importance of Filling Your Pneu-Dart RDD to Capacity

Video Transcript:

Hey, it’s Josh from Pneu Dart. We have a quick tip from the field. We’re talking about filling your RDD to capacity. So, how do we determine what size RDD were using? Well listed right here on every Metal Dart body is the cc or the capacity size, in this instance this is a 3cc RDD (Pointing to the RDD) and it’s labeled (eliminate the word “Also”) on every package of Pneu Dart RDD’s is found down at the bottom along with the corresponding information about the product.

Now, why is this important and how does this affect you in the field?

There are two things…. number one; We want to eliminate the potential of partial deployments. If the RDD body is not filled to capacity in this case of 3 cc volume RDD you’re going to significantly increase the potential for partial deployment. Resulting in not getting that critical medication into the animal you’re trying to treat.

Number two: Is the flight performance of the RDD itself.
If your projector is set up and it’s dialed in and you’re hitting nice groups in this case with 3 cc practice darts and you only put 2 cc in it that RDD the net effect is that the RDD is lighter in weight and you’re gonna shoot right over that animals back.

We want to make sure that we’re mimicking what we do in practice to what we do in the field.

A way to eliminate the potential of partial deployments, missing your target and to ensure you’re achieving the great accuracy that Pneu Dart is known for…..is to fill the RDD fully and to capacity.
