PBR Competition Committee approved a special format for the event this past weekend. Since the three-day event also involved a separate 15/15 Bucking Battle, it was devised to protect riders who could be attempting as many as five bulls in three days. It was an attempt to lessen the number of bulls a rider may potentially get on over the course of a three-day weekend when there are weeks with back-to-back 15/15 Bucking Battles.
The riders that competed in the 15/15 Bucking Battle Saturday night did not attempt a long-round bull earlier in the evening; Round 1 was split across Friday and Saturday night. Round 2 and the event championship round was Sunday afternoon. PBR opened the field to the 60 highest-ranking riders in the world standings to fill the void.
Jess Lockwood went 1 for 3 this weekend and earned 65 world standings points with a tenth-place event finish. Jess is currently eighth in the world with 1,635 points.

Cooper Davis went 0 for 2 this past weekend and remains 11th in the PBR world standings with 1,125 points.
