Lockwood and Davis results from Las Vegas

Jess Lockwood went 0 for 2 in his two attempts in Last Cowboy Standing, but he did advance to round 2 based on his world ranking.   The weekend was not a loss though as Jess did ride 2 of 2 bulls in the PBR sanctioned WCRA rodeo held over the weekend at Thomas and Mack arena finishing 3rd in the event and earned 40 world standings points.  Heading into the summer break, Jess remains eighth in the world with 1,675 points.

Cooper Davis went 3 for 4 in Last Cowboy Standing and was one successful ride away from possibly winning the event.  Cooper won rounds 1 and 2 and finished 2nd overall earning 285 world points.  Davis also rode 1 of 2 bulls in the PBR sanctioned WCRA rodeo held over the weekend at Thomas and Mack arena finishing 4th in the event and earned 20 world points.  Entering the summer break, Cooper has improved to ninth in the PBR world standings with 1,510 points.

Up Next for PBR’s Premier Series:  the 25thPBR: Unleash the Beast breaks for the summer and will return for its 18thstop in the 2018 season August 11 – 12 in Tulsa, OK and the Express Employment Professionals Classic Presented by Osage Casino at the BOK Center.

The Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour and PBR Touring Pro Division will take center stage as riders will pick and choose which events to compete in.   I will continue to update you on their progress and if any milestones take place as needed.  Including a much more in depth analysis of the first 17 events out to you at some point next week.
