At Pneu-Dart, we prioritize both the end-user and the well-being of the animals they handle. Our projectors boast velocity adjustment capabilities, allowing users to modify power according to the distance and size of the RDD utilized. This customization ensures precise shots tailored to individual requirements.
RDDs are designed for one-time use and are designed for loading into projectors after being filled with the intended injectable. However, before administering shots, the crucial first step is practice. As the saying goes, “practice makes perfect.” Given the multitude of variables involved, particularly with animals and weather conditions, we recommend initial practice upon receiving the product, followed by regular sessions, ideally monthly once a comfort level is achieved.
Included with every projector is a QR code providing access to our pre-made trajectory charts, serving as invaluable guides for new users. Additionally, our projector and RDD packages come with practice RDDs, available in the same sizes as regular/live RDDs. These practice RDDs, distinguishable by their blue color or blue ring on the tail and lack of a needle port, are weighted to simulate filled RDDs, ensuring realistic flight trajectories. While they can be used multiple times, it’s advisable to discard them once signs of wear on the tails emerge, as this can affect the trajectory.

By following trajectory charts at various distances and with different-sized practice RDDs, users can create personalized charts. Many users opt to create compact guides listing common cc sizes and distances, often laminating, and affixing them to the projector’s stock for quick reference.
