Pneu-Dart, the manufacturer of remote drug delivery solutions serving clients worldwide, celebrates its 50th anniversary this month.
Founded in 1967, Pneu-Dart started as a small basement operation in a rural community in central Pennsylvania, developing remote drug delivery devices for the livestock and wildlife industries. Its success over the years has been based on its core mission: providing customers with what they want – and what works.
Over the past five decades Pneu-Dart has enjoyed steady growth due to invaluable feedback from ranchers and rangers. These ideas have greatly improved the product line yielding a multitude of milestones.
During recent years Pneu-Dart undertook several building expansion projects, with an eye toward providing increased manufacturing production. With a commitment to excellence, high standards of professionalism and dedication, Pneu-Dart’s workforce grew from 20 associates to more than 70 full-time employees.
“Turning 50 evokes so many emotions for us,” said President Blair Soars. “Reflection, celebration, and honor are but a few.”

The year 2016 was a particularly busy one for Pneu-Dart when, in January, the company took the proactive measure of designing, creating and presenting the first RDD (Remote Drug Delivery) online educational program. This digital tutorial provides in-depth training and best practices for the use of RDD products.
In February of the same year, Pneu-Dart announced a non-profit endeavor, The Treat Right Foundation. As a service to its customers, the company established a 501c3 organization designed to support the National Future Farmers of America and the National Wildlife Federation, two very deserving non-profit organizations.
In October of last year, Slo-Inject™ RDD Technology was placed into production. Slo-Inject™ provides customers with an innovative RDD that reduces the rate of injection and minimizes potential for bounce-outs, while presenting virtually no tissue damage to the animal.
In honor of this historical event Pneu-Dart is pleased to present a $50-for-$50 program. Commencing October 23rd and running through the end of the month, retail customers spending at least $50 dollars in new product will receive a $50 Pneu-Dart gift card*.
