Field feedback has revealed RDD cannula (needles) bending upon impact of thick-skinned animals. As we continue to enhance our product, we have corrected this phenomenon by utilizing heavier gauge cannulas. The outside diameter of this cannula is the same; however, the inside diameter is slightly smaller. In turn, RDDs currently produced will require a 19-gauge hypodermic fill needle we now promote.
For all new and recent RDD orders placed for Pneu-Dart RDDs (Type C & P), a free complementary 19-gauge fill needle will be included in your shipment.
