This weekend was very eventful for everyone, but especially for our boys on Team USA Eagles who became the first team in the history of the PBR Global Cup to defend home soil, winning the 2020 WinStar World Casino and Resort PBR Global Cup USA, presented by Monster Energy.
With the help of Honorary Assistant Coach, Cooper Davis, Team USA Eagles went a combined 6-for-16 in representing the Red, White, and Blue.
Two-time World Champion, Jess Lockwood rode hard with 90.25 points on Grand Theft and 88.5 points on Red Dawn, helping the Eagles end the night sitting atop the event leaderboard.
With the determination of their other teammates, Team USA Eagles nailed six qualified rides this weekend. The six-man contingent left Texas with the glittering U.S. horn from the Global Cup trophy, first-of-their-kind medals, and a check for $362,022.22.
