Wrangler Long Live Cowboys Classic, Greensboro, NC results

Cooper Davis went a perfect 3 for 3 to win the UTB Long Live Cowboys Classic. In the event championship round Cooper recorded his fourth 90 point ride of the season, a 92.75 which is tied for the tours fourth highest mark of the year. This was his second premier series event win of the season (Green Bay) and he earned 590 world points. Davis remains fifth in the PBR world standings with 3,583 points.

Jess Lockwood went 3 for 3 for a perfect weekend, in which he rode a previously unridden bull, Heartbreak Kid (38 – 1) in the event championship round for a career best 93.75 points. Lockwood finished second in the event, his 11th top ten finish of the year and earned 400 world points. He remains in second place in the PBR world standings with 5,900 points, and he once again significantly cut into the world leader’s advantage. With one regular season event left before the world championship he trails the top spot by 321 points.
